Privacy Policy

Last updated July 2026.

Short version: the dates you type into the calculators never reach a server. Everything below explains what actually does get collected, and why.

The calculators run entirely in your browser

Both the Deadline Calculator and the Business Days Calculator do their date math with JavaScript that executes on your device. The start date, the day count, and the result never travel to LitigationDeadline or to any third party. Close the tab and the figures are gone. There is no account, no database row, and no history to request a copy of, because none is kept.

What does get collected

Like most websites, this one picks up a baseline of visit data: pages viewed, approximate location from IP address, browser type, and referring site. That comes from Google Analytics and is used in aggregate, to see which pages get read, not to identify an individual visitor.

Third-party services this site uses

Google Analytics for traffic measurement. Google AdSense for the display ads that keep the calculators free, which may set cookies to show ads relevant to your browsing elsewhere. Web3Forms processes the contact form; if you submit it, your name, email, and message are sent through their API to reach us and are not used for anything beyond replying to you.

Cookies

A cookie consent banner runs on first visit. Rejecting it blocks the ad-personalization and analytics cookies described above; the calculators keep working normally either way, since they do not depend on cookies at all. You can also clear or block cookies through your browser's own settings at any time.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top of this page will move. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the current version.
